Fold Basket

▶ Play

Fold Basket turns the hinge of a foldable phone into a shooting arm. The further you fold, the more power the shot gets; the moment you open the phone quickly, the ball flies toward the hoop. It is a skill game built on short rounds, a hoop that keeps getting harder to hit and chasing your own record.

How to play

  1. When the game opens it runs a short fold test: fold the phone slowly, then open it quickly. The game checks which signal your phone reports reliably (motion sensor, posture information or a screen change) and picks the controls to match.
  2. Fold the phone to aim a shot. The power meter on screen fills as the fold angle increases.
  3. When the power looks right, open the phone quickly and the ball is released. Opening slowly does not count as a shot, so you can calmly reset your grip.
  4. Every basket scores, and baskets in a row build a streak. You have three lives: each miss costs one and resets the streak. When the game ends, your best score and longest streak are saved.

Tips

How does the hoop get harder?

For the first shots the hoop stays still. As you score it starts moving up and down, then back and forth, then a timer appears and the rim narrows. That makes the game easy to pick up but demanding over long streaks. It also works on a phone that doesn't fold: tilt the phone back with your wrist as if folding it and flick it back, or choose touch mode.

What do you need?

Katla games run in the browser; there is nothing to download or install. The games read the phone's fold angle from its motion sensor, so they play best on foldable phones such as the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. On a phone that doesn't fold you can tilt the phone with your wrist instead of moving the top half, and most games can also be played by tapping the screen. Motion sensors only work over a secure connection (https).
