In Fold Pinball the flippers are tied to the phone's hinge: one short, quick fold lifts both flippers at once. Keep the ball in play, send it through the lanes at the top to light up the letters K-A-T-L-A, knock down the targets and beat each table's score threshold.
How to play
- With the ball in the launch lane, fold the phone and open it quickly. The more you fold, the harder it launches.
- During play, fold briefly and quickly: both flippers go up. Hold the fold and they stay up; open and they drop.
- Pass through the five lanes at the top to complete K-A-T-L-A and raise the score multiplier.
- Knock down all the blue targets for a bonus.
- On a touch screen, the left and right halves of the screen work the left and right flippers; in the launch lane, press, hold and release to launch.
Tips
- To trap the ball on a flipper, keep it up and let the ball settle, then take a calm shot.
- Don't swing at every ball. Pressing too early often sends the ball straight down the middle.
- Lit letters stay lit on the table; if you miss a lane, you can try again on the next shots.
- Slingshots throw the ball sideways fast. Don't raise the flippers early near the slingshots.
Tables and thresholds
There are five tables, going from two flippers up to six. Each table has a score threshold; beat it and the next table unlocks, and your best scores are kept per table. More flippers mean more chances to save the ball, but because they all lift together, timing matters even more.
What do you need?
Katla games run in the browser; there is nothing to download or install. The games read the phone's fold angle from its motion sensor, so they play best on foldable phones such as the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. On a phone that doesn't fold you can tilt the phone with your wrist instead of moving the top half, and most games can also be played by tapping the screen. Motion sensors only work over a secure connection (https).
